Surprisingly this week time flew by fast!!! Maybe because I was kept busy with my project  haha. Everything went smoothly and I was able to catch up slowly now. And homesickness is not that serious anymore!!! YAY! Teehee!! :D

Day 12, 14 Dec

TGIF!!!!!!! We went to Bangkok at night after dinner! Hehe!

Thats only one thing I want to talk about! GUESS WHO WE SAW?? LEE KWANG SOO AND SONG JOONG KI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it I can't believe I can't believe!! They were SO SO SO SO SO NEAR to us. Bangkok isn't small but we managed to meet them. OMG I DO BELIEVE IN FATE SOMETIMES!!! WE ARE JUST TOO LUCKY!!!!!!

Ok now I am gna start telling what happened!!

At first it was HweeTing who saw him walk passed. She came and told me she saw Kwang Soo! I heard and I stunned for 2 seconds and shouted : "KWANG SOOOOOOOOOO?!?!?!?!?!?! KWANG SOOOO IS HERE?!?!" What was in my mind: KwangSoo? Why is he here? What he doing here? HE IS HERE?! HE IS HERE?!

Then 2 of us went to check out and see whether it is really him. I SAW HIM!!! He is just too easy to be recognized! HAHA! His first reaction was to hide behind another guy.. He was wearing a hat and I guess he don't want anyone to recognize him! But after that, he turned his face over. THIS TIME I CAN CONFIRM THAT HE IS KWANG SOOOO!!! Kwang Soo from Running Man!!!! OMG.  I couldn't believe my eyes. REALLY. I was in a total shock and excited and crazy mood!! We shouted his name and he shook hand with us!!!! 

After that, it seems we were not satisfied. LOL. We waited at their area and Kwang Soo asked the security guards to come and ask where are we from!! We stayed there for quite long and keep looking at them from a distance because the guards doesn't allow us to enter their area. Cannot take picture and all.. T.T  After a while, we were asked to leave..

We went back to our table and I still in a shock mood. I cannot believe it!!!!! 
Ok, after like half an hr, we saw one brunch of people walk passed us again is Kwang Soo! He going toilet LOL. And when they walked back I saw a guy who look like Joong Ki. But cannot be, he was walking in front. Usually they will walk at the back and protected by security guards.. He smiled at HT and she shouted: JOONG KIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 
Me, another mental breakdown! JOONG KI?!?!?! JOONG KI IS HERE TOO?!?!?!?!

We went to check and confirmed that he is REALLY JOONG KI!!!! O.M.G. We almost fainted LOLOL!! He is so handsome and smart in person!! He is very attractive can catch your attention easily!!! Okay. We went back to our table again. *take a deep breathe* LOLOL!!

Before we leave, we went toilet. While me and HT waiting for our friends outside the toilet, Kwang Soo was walking towards our direction!!! I don't dare to shout anymore, I just keep waving!!! He slowed down when he saw us waving, smiled and waved back while saying Hi!!!!!! Also we bowed to each other slightly! OMG. KWANG SOO WAS STANDING IN FRONT OF ME. LITERALLY IN FRONT OF ME!!!! TOO NEAR TO BE REAL!!! LOL! 

I saw a different side of Kwang Soo! He was very sincere when he greet us and I don't see the usual 'Running Man's Kwang Soo image', the innocent face. LOL!! Ahhh, why Jooong Ki didn't come out as well!!! OMG WHAT A DAY!!! 


Day 13, 15 Dec

I am still super hyper now! HAHA! And HweeTing is having the after effect LOL!!! We can't stop talking about them since morning!! 

Ok. Let's calm down.. hahaha! Btw, finally I can webcam with dad today using ChuiFann's lappy! Because only her lappy can connect to LAN. Ours can only connect to wifi and the wifi couldn't connect my video call on MSN. HEHEHE I AM SO HAPPY EVERYTIME I TALK TO MY BELOVED DADDY!! PLEASE. PLEASE. I BEG. DON'T LET THE WORLD END. PLEASEEEEEE!!!! :(

Day 7-8

Day 7: 9 Dec

Today we went Chatuchak weekend market!! 
On the 40 mins van ride, I was day dreaming. I felt stress or rather I don't feel excited or good on a sunday. Going to shopping somemore. I just miss my family. Of course my grandma, worried whether she is okay satying alone at home. And my dad who complaint about his joints pain ytd. He was sick and took leave to rest at home. *sigh* what can I do..... Feel like crying while having all these thoughts in my mind. Other than homesickness, I am quite worried my work here for the following 3 months. I need to catch concept fast, be super super super super super super super independent and overcome the language barrier here. I felt like there is this BIG HUGE stone on my body and make me suffocate. I can't breathe properly. I just very very scared, what if I do something wrong, what if I don't know this don't know that. What if the world really ending. LOL. Ok, this one extra. 

We reached while I was still day dreaming. Haha. Ok, it is a BIG weekend market. Something like my hometown pasar pagi? But maybe 30 times bigger than that LOL! We shopped for clothing and get tired after walking for 2-3 hrs. Decided to head back home, I meant our dorm. Dinner? 7-11 food again! Well, don't ask why, we love their food -.-

Me and CF wanted to jog/run first before having dinner but the facilities downstairs were spoilt. Thought of to run around our area, it started raining. FINE. *give up* 

Had some talk with the girls after dinner on the dining table. Day end..



Day 8: 10 Dec

I am here blogging while cf and ht are studying now. We just feel so lazy to go somewhere far and spend money since we already spend some on shopping ytd. So we decided to stay at home until afternoon then go to the Future Park nearby. 

Homesickness and stress still here. How to get rid of them... OMG its just day 8. T.T 

Day 6

Day 6: 8 Dec 2012

It was an adventurous day for us!! Because we accompanied ChuiFann to the church which is quite far away from our area today. We were not familiar with the routes, cannot speak thai and  it was raining heavily!! Luckily, we all reached safely!!! :D

After that we went to Future Park for dinner and did groceries shopping again!!! Today we bought 3 months worth of stuffs!! Like shampoo, detergent, biscuits and so on. Haha! Take a look!

Day 4-5

Day 4: 6 Dec 2012

After work, ChuiFann's supervisor drove us around and showed us where the locals usually go for dinner after she heard that we often eat 7-11 food! So we were like 'Oh! So there is food court here' 'So there is pizza shop here!' 'Bubble tea! Coffee shop!! Even lounge!' We were like kids and we felt like it is actually a compressed version of singapore here! Haha! They have everything!! NOW WE KNOW WHERE TO GET FOOOOOD! And guess what, she treated us dinnerrr!!! SO PAISEH! REALLY THANK YOU SO MUCH! Krup kup kaaaa! :D 

Hmm frankly speaking, I MISS HOME. I guess the rest too! The time here passed really slooooww~ I don't know whyyyy! Its only the 4th day :( Either because the sky was already dark at 6pm or we don't have to travel home. So we felt like there is actually more than 24 hours here! *sighhhhhh*

Day 5: 7 Dec 2012

TGIF!!!! Its our laundry day! We accumulated one week worth of clothing and washed them using the coin-operated washing machines located opposite our dorm. BUT after that we realized we got not enough place to hang our clothes -.- Ended up we 'hang' our towels on the toilet doors! LOL. So now, we decided to do our laundry twice a week!! 

Hahaha it was so warm to have CF and HT around, it felt like we are one happy family because we sticked together all the time and the feeling was even stronger when we did laundry together! To our friends and parents, don't worry! We really took care of one another very very very well!! 

Oh btw, we meet a super nice lady at the laundry shop! She told us how to operate the drying machine and saying that she is willing to drive us and tour around this place to show us where to get food and so on. Omg, people here are friendly!!!!

Moreover, we went to visit the TP girls, Wen Shi and Pam's room at level 5! They have been attached here for 3 months already and will be leaving on January. Of course their room is not as empty as us! It like a HOME! Study desk with all the sticky notes, books, photos, clock etc etc. TOTALLY A HOME. HAHA! Oh did I mentioned? We bumped onto them at Victoria monument that day and we took BST together! :)) So nice to meet them here! 

Day 1-3

Day 1: 3 Dec 2012

OK! Today was our first day so Pee Pex brought us around to show us where are the canteen, nearby convenient stores, bus stop, mini-van service etc. Then we went to BIOTEC, the place where we will be attached to for the following 3 months! We meet our respective supervisors and of course we felt welcomed and they were all friendly and nice! :)

Thenn after work, we head down to Future Park to settle our mobile phone. Hmm, actually is to get a simcard with 3G service! Because we have no internet access since the moment we boarded the plane! Its torturing!! HAHA! U feel me?! And the only problem we faced was difficulty in communication. Not much people here know english! And we pekcek until we raised our voice and spoke hokkien to them. Can u imagine? Body language doesn't work always! Haha! However, in the end & FINALLY we found someone who can understand english and speak a lit bit, so we settled our mobile internet! YAY!! 

It was our first time taking the van here. It was very very comfortable actually! Clean and with air-con! We enjoyed our rides? keke! After reaching dorm, we end our day by reading journal papers given by supervisors! Hmm wanna have a peek at our dorm? 

TADAAAA!!!

Day 2: 4 Dec 2012

Its just like an ordinary working day! Today my supervisor, Pee Kung told me details about my project and what am I going to do. I.AM.LOST!! Honestly, there were a lot of things I don't understand.. :( But it is too rude to stop someone continuously throughout the conversation right. 

Anw, after work we got the bicycles from our dorm (foc!) and cycled to the nearest 7-11 to settle our dinner! Yea, so far we think that 7-11 food was the best! -.-

HAHAHA!! We can't stop laughing at it. It just looked funny! 

Day 3: 5 Dec 2012!

Its the King's birthday today!! PUBLIC HOLIDAY!! 

We decided to head to the town! Siam Paragon our first stop! First time taking the train here. Its called BTS. I felt like Bangkok is just like KL. Totally got the same 'FEEL' haha! It wan't too far to travel there from science park, maybe just..40 mins? After lunch, we went Platinum! OMG IT IS TOTALLY HEAVEN THERE!!!! SERIOUSLY!! HAHA!! We spent few hours only in one zone! The stuffs there are cheap and it will be a bit cheaper if you buy in bulk. But it wasn't as cheap as I thought, so ended up we didn't buy anything! It was so hard to controlled ourselves!!! As we wanted to explore more places and compare their prices first! Definitely a place for all ladies!

Next! headed to Big C nearby to get some necessary groceries! There was night market there but we didn't walk around because we need to rush for the last van at 10pm!! COMFIRM GUARANTEE PLUS CHOP WILL GO BACK TO THESE PLACES SOON! HAHA!!

Hmm I was thinking to blog about this trip everyday but since I will be starting on my project next week, I don't think I will have time anymore. :( SO! I will blog.. maybe at least once a week? Haha! Let's see! 

Alright, let's start from DAY 0!!

It was the day we flew over to Thai. But I was so 'lucky' that I get fever and sore throat the day before our flight! Then after seeing doctor in the morning, grandma, aunt and me headed to airport and had lunch there. Hmm, actually I was a bit disappointed that none of you appeared in the end. If you all are not planning to come, then shouldn't have mentioned about it in front of me. Its like give me some hope and then take it away. Well, it's ok! :)

The journey was delightful!! The scenes were awesome. Since the weather on that day was good, we managed to see clear blue sky, cotton like clouds and ofc the climax is the sunset!!! It was my first time seeing sunset in the plane!!! I meant in such a high gratitude! The feeling was totally different man!! 

Buddies for the next 3 months! :D

Hmm, after reaching the dorm we were greeted by the in-charge, Pee Pex! (Pee means sister in thai) haha! THE DORM WE STAYING IS AWESOME!! Big, clean, comfortable and with air-con. Hehe we were VERY surprise when we first stepped in! Totally out of our expectations! :D

Btw, we bought dinner from the airport and after settling our luggage, we headed to the canteen to microwave our fooddd! (We can't eat inside the room .__.) And of course to call our parents to 报平安! We didn't have simcard yet so we used public phone. I nvr use public phone anymore after primary school I guess? Haha so here are some 'funny scenes'!!

Exhausted

F.I.N.A.L.L.Y!!!!! I am done packing.. I've been packing for 2-3 days not only for my trip but also for house moving. It was SUPER TIRING!!! REALLY NO JOKE MAN. I am having a severe headache and sore throat now.. Why now?! *SIGH* Just hope that I won't have fever tmr. PLEASE. 

I don't feel excited anymore. I just feel so tired and I want a good sleep.. I've not been sleeping well these 2 days. Besides, I am still thinking of the world ending soon. Haha u guys are laughing at me now right? I just scared the world will REALLY END. If the world is going to end, pls at least let me see my dad first. <3

Today, I had a great evening. A really great one.. I guess that was the ONLY time I enjoyed walking home. 15-20mins seems like 1 min only LOL. However, when I thought about it after that, it actually meant nothing. Everything was just my imagination. The happiness came from my imagination and day-dreaming. Hais.. If I was born with pretty face and slim body will everything be different right now? Yes, definitely I guess. Haha. Anw, I am always thankful that I was born healthy! U may buy happiness but not health. And thanksgiving is one of the moral values that I always remind myself to practice. When u complaining that u have no beautiful shoes to wear, think about those people with no legs. I REALLY DON'T LIKE people who don't feel thankful at all about what they are having and instead complaining all the time. -.- Please la.

Alright, I shall go drink salt water now. Really, its getting worse :(

Thoughtsssss..

21st Dec 2012. A familiar date for you? Yes, researchers predicted that the world is ending soon. In fact, is like what 3 days in the darkness, negative 50 degree celcius etc. Then after 3 days everything will back to normal. If thats really going to happen, I doubt who could survived under that kind of extreme conditions. WELL. I started to feel insecure and nervous after reading so many world-ending-related articles. Hahahaha! Sometimes I laughed at myself too for thinking too much. I have a long list of things that I want to do, achieve and experience! I really pray hard and hope the world is not ending.....

Time checked- 11:45pm!!! I should be sleeping but I got this 'feel' to blog now haha! Usually I will think A LOT before falling asleep. I would day-dream, play scenarios in my mind, and talk to myself. I think is normal. RIGHT?! HAHA! 

After yesterday night movie session, I was so hyper even until now! Hmm I just wondered, 如果有一天,我没有价值了,你还会把我当好朋友吗? I think all these were just 礼尚往来. I should not think too much and misunderstand it. But my brain just failed to control my heart, as usual. I am quite confused about my own feelings and I am so tempted to ask. LOL. NO, I told myself. Simply because I don't want to lose such a great friend like you. Just let everything freeze in their own positions :) 

The moment I finished typing the last sentence, I heard: "Can don't???" -.-
I don't know what myself want la. So irritating! Tsk.

I WILL NEVER FORGET, HOW WE WON THE BATTLE TOGETHER!!!

Faceofman

I just quitted my very first part-time job as a receptionist yesterday..

There are few reasons, mainly because I going Thai next month and the job was quite boring sometimes.

Nonetheless, I learnt a lot and meet nice people for the past 5 months!! After starting working, I regretted that I didn't take up part-time job earlier, like during year 1 or so. Then I will be able to save more $$.. Hais.. 

Alright, back to Faceofman! It is a facial treatment salon for man. There are few branches and I was working at the Orchard branch. It was my first job so I was super nervous during the interview back then! Hmm the one who interviewed me was Chris. He is super friendly, smart and casual man. He is the founder aka 'big boss' of the company. He always told me study is more important at my age but part-time job is another channel to learn things. During the interview, he told me I will learnt a lot from my job since this is my first job. Haha hence proven! I did. He is really nice like he will always encourage me and wished me when I told him I need to take off for exam.. (Errr they allowed me to take off for my exam etc without scolding! AWESOME RIGHT? HAHA)

Next! My manager Jerome!!! He is a good leader, a humorous and funny man & he LOVES to tease people!! I remembered he teased me on my first day of work!! However, he is very serious when it comes to work and customer services. Of course, he taught me what are customer services. :) He always talk to me during free time, give me useful advices, concern about my studies and yesterday he told me where are the fun places to visit in Thailand. Haha and he always ask me go eat! LOL! Because usually I'll have my lunch first before going to work and then have dinner after work. But he scared I starved myself during work so he keep asking me to go eat smtg!   

Last but not least! My pretty colleague, Jayce! She is Malaysian too and she travelled between JB and SG everyday. Ahh how tiring! She is talkative, friendly, and nice!! She always share her stories with me like where she planning to go for vacation.. What movie she going to watch.. What are nice to eat..and so on! My work day would be super super boring without her!! She even bought me souvenirs after coming back from HK! And guess what, she helped me do free treatment during free time when there were no customers!! I was really sad yesterday because she didn't came to work! I couldn't say goodbye to her... :(

Ahh almost forget! There is one more colleague called Linda! She just transferred from Roxy branch to Orchard branch 2 weeks ago. So I wasn't close to her but she is super random! Haha! She always joke around and laugh freely! She was kinda shock when I told her ytd was my last day of work. She even asked when I will be back and asked me to take care.. aww~ how sweet!

SEE!! This is how lovely my work place was!! There were no politics, no fighting, no arguing, no back stabbing, no boot licking at all. I feel so upset that I didn't get a chance to take a group photo with them! T.T I will definitely go back to visit them after my Thai attachment! 

On a side note, they all kept asking me to go for their 20th Anniversary Celebration Dinner but I was absent in the end as I was having my attachment on that day and I guess it will be kind of awkward at such occasion.. :P 

Alright!! What I exactly learnt there was.. mainly customer services. I get to see A LOT of people with different attitudes! Some customers were nice, humble although they are rich, and always feel thankful. There was one customer who treated us chocolate on his birthday! And there was another customer who asked me what I currently studying and give me some advices on my future studies! Of course there were some bad ones. Luckily I didn't meet any but my colleagues! In terms of skills, they taught me basic face cleansing and how to apply & remove mask etc. Besides, I gained some extra knowledges about skin care. :)

OVERALL! IT WAS A GREAT AND AWESOME EXPERIENCE FOR ME!!! I am so blessed that I meet lovely colleagues and customers. I am so thankful that my first job was this unforgettable! Although it was just part-time, I will never forget my first pay of my life! I know earning money is not easy but now I know how HARD it is. Also I really cannot juggle between work and studies especially during exam period, thats why I took off to study. Must salute those who work part-time and study at the same time OR those who work and study part-time! It is really NOT EASYYY!! 

ALL THE BEST TO THEM AND MYSELF!! Such a long post! Haha! BYE! ^^
